The U.S Travel Authorization enables citizens and nationals from the 38 Countries to enter the U.S. for tourism or business purposes for up to 90 days.
It is an online request developed by the government to pre-screen travelers before they are allowed to board an airplane or ship bound for the U.S.. Starting on January 12, 2009, any person entering the country under the program is required to hold an approved Travel Authorization.
All travelers entering the country on a commercial flight or cruise ship under the waiver program are required to hold a valid U.S. travel authorization. Travelers are recommended to get a Travel Authorization at least 72 hours prior to departure.
